Loughborough Management Programme – Bronze
Welcome to Bronze, launching in 2026. These concise, high-impact sessions are designed to give you the core principles of effective management. Whether you're new to managing people or simply want to strengthen your foundation, Bronze sessions explore essential theories and make them practical, relatable, and immediately useful.
Expect a blend of theory and hands-on learning that helps you build confidence, apply practical management tools, and lead with empathy and trust. You can complete these elements individually, at your own pace, or work through the full Bronze pathway to earn a certificate accredited by The Institute of Leadership.
Bronze Level Overview
To achieve the Bronze Level, you’ll need to complete the short enrolment form at the bottom of this page and attend the core sessions listed below. These are the minimum requirement for accreditation.
In addition, we strongly encourage you to explore the other sessions available at this level. They’re designed to help you deepen your knowledge, build confidence, and further develop your skills as a manager.

This bitesize session helps you discover your management style and how to use it to help your team thrive, while avoiding common pitfalls that can hold people back.

In this short workshop, you’ll explore a proven feedback model and practice techniques to deliver honest, constructive feedback that motivates and supports your team.

Please note, if you have attended or are due to attend GLOW Conversations: Giving Effective Feedback, you do not need to attend this session. Your attendance at the GLOW training will count towards completion of the LMP Bronze Level.
Support wellbeing by engaging in reflective and empathetic discussions.
This session helps you recognise the factors that affect wellbeing at work and gives you tools to have supportive conversations. You’ll also learn about the University’s wellbeing resources.

Trust is the foundation of great management.
Using the Trust Equation, this interactive workshop helps you understand how to build, maintain, and repair trust in your professional relationships, so your team can perform at its best.
