Re-setting After an Activation

  • The red fire light will be illuminated. The red fire zone light will be illuminated and will show the location of the activation.
  • Press the ‘Silence Alarms’ button.

  • Press ‘Shift 0’.  This will lock the fire panel.

Remember to reset any plant linked to the fire alarm as it may have tripped or isolated when the fire alarm activated.

If the alarm will not reset, investigate the area again. If the alarm is confirmed to be false, silence the alarm but do not reset it. Call Security and request that they contact the duty electrician.
