Creative Arts students selected to showcase their work for Inspirational Women Project

LU Arts has partnered up with the Women’s Network on an exciting project that has asked students to identify a woman that has meant something to them, either personally or through their achievements, and celebrate them through illustrations and creative writing.

Creative Arts students Amy Attrill, Beth Holton, Christos Leo Almaniotis, Clara Lopez Milan, Flo Sargent, Holly Laidler, Nitya Thawani, Orsi Haboczki, Teresa Amamillo Vargas, Lou Goswell, Lucie Lewis and Donna Cross have all had their work included in the showcase.

The students have recognised a cross section of women, both historical and contemporary and personal and political. Some will be well known but others will make visible notable achievements that many will be unaware of. The project also highlights the creativity of Loughborough students the impact that these women have had on their lives. The work is now being showcased throughout campus, online and at the International Women’s Festival on Thursday 12 March at LSU.
