In her drawings, murals and installations, Marisa Rappard depicts associatively what it means to be human in this fluid world, in which technology is increasingly intervening.

Since she received a master's degree, her work has been on display in many places in her home country the Netherlands, as well as internationally. Rappard had solo exhibitions in amongst others Centraal Museum in Utrecht, and the Drawing Centre in Diepenheim. In 2022, she was commissioned by the Dutch embassy in Paris to make a wall-filling drawing during Drawing Now, the fair for contemporary drawing. Her work is included in institutional collections. She teaches at ArtEZ Art Academy in the Netherlands and at Drawing Inventions Academy, a master's trajectory.
