David Paton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Art at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa where he teaches Drawing and Studio Practice at all undergraduate levels and has supervised over 25 postgraduate students, He is also a Senior Researcher at the Jack Ginsberg Centre for Book Arts (JGCBA) at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
