Employability

Our aim is to produced talented, well-rounded, and original graduates who are fully equipped to launch successful careers within a variety of design and creative industries.

The School of Design and Creative Arts is proud to nurture long-standing professional partnerships with a range of different employers and industry powerhouses, which our students and graduates are encouraged and guided to take advantage of.

From work experience opportunities and paid year-long industry placements to live briefs, competitions and in-built skills development modules, our students are exposed to countless opportunities to develop their employability. The hands-on nature of our teaching means that not only do students get a thorough grounding in theoretical learning, they are also capable of (and experienced in) producing professional-standard practical work.

This paired with the abundant opportunities to network with industry professionals places our graduates amongst some of the most employable in the UK. In addition we have exchange agreements in place with a number of overseas universities, at which students can study at for part of their degree.
