Within this project I came up with a design that would help with the environment by reusing recycled plastics such as water bottles and plastic bags. I wanted to design something that would either help the public in recycling their rubbish correctly or design a way recycled plastic could be reused in our everyday life. This is where I came up with the idea of the lamp shade. I found a survival technique that turned a plastic water bottle into 3 metre strips of plastic that could be used as a rope or in my case, a lamp shade that gives off beautiful shadows.
