Cansu joined Loughborough Business School in October 2018 as a Teaching Fellow in Economics. She previously held the post of Lecturer in Economics at Cag University, Turkey, and VL at the University of Birmingham.
She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham; an MSc Operation Research from Marmara University, and BSc Mathematics from Mersin University (Turkey).
Her research interests span labour economics, labour migration, international economics, applied econometrics, quantitative economics, brain drain/gain and human capital.
