SUPERGEN

Solar panels

Loughborough and the EPSRC SuperSolar Network The SUPERGEN SuperSolar Hub is an exciting 5 year project that will see the creation of the UK's first standards lab for solar cells based at Loughborough and a research programme that aims to improve the efficiency of next generation photovoltaic devices. The Hub also organises training programmes for the Photovoltaic research sector and the formation of an inclusive solar community that links research carried out in universities and industry.

Details of all SuperSolar events and activities are available on the Hub website.

The project is being funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) - RCUK energy programme. Led by Loughborough University's Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST) the project partners include the Universities of Bath, Liverpool, Oxford, Sheffield, Southampton, Cambridge and Imperial College along with the Energy Generation and Supply Knowledge Transfer Network.
