Identifying Technical Issues in Solar Asset Management Event

2pm-4:30pm (GMT)
Wednesday 17th January 2024
Virtual event, free to attend

Abstract

With targets of 70 GW of installed capacity by 2035, large scale solar assets are increasingly part of the landscape in the UK. Ensuring that these assets deliver the solar power that is needed is not only a relatively new career path for STEM graduates, but also a developing field of interest to researchers in industry and academia. New challenges are arising in operation and maintainance of solar assets and new techniques and approaches are being developed to address them.

This FREE webinar brings together some key industry players and researchers to highlight current trends as more and more modules are making it into the field.

Topics will include: module soiling and cleaning, degradation of module packaging and fault analysis and digital asset mapping. Talk titles to follow soon.

Speakers

  • Will Hitchcock, Above Surveying
  • Chris Buckland and Nicholas Mutch, Lightsource BP
  • Sona Ulicna, National Renewable Energy Laboratory
  • David Mack and Vincent Pank, Everblue Solar
