The performance and durability of anti-reflection coatings for solar module cover glass

Researchers at CREST recently published a review article on anti-reflection coatings for solar module cover glass, and the paper was picked up by pv-magazine.com, a leading industry publication, who wrote a short piece about it.

The review paper, titled ‘The performance and durability of anti-reflection coatings for solar module cover glass – a review’ published in Solar Energy, covers anti-reflection coatings with a key focus on their durability, as current industry standard coatings have been shown to exhibit poor resistance to abrasion caused by regular cleaning processes. The article also covers multifunctionality, most importantly anti-soiling, and offers suggestions for future development. The article, written by first author Adam Law and co-authors Luke Jones and Professor Mike Walls, is published with Gold Open Access and is freely available to all. '
