3D-Printing Design Freedom Demonstrator

(Philip Musche)

The project aim was to show the design capabilities of 3D Printers.

For the finger mechanism, the FDM process was chosen as the support material is water dissolvable and can be easily removed from deep cavities. For the stand, the SLS process was used in which the electronics are hidden. The finger tips were made by an Object printer due to the accuracy and precision. Check out the video to see how the 3D-printed hand works.
