Help with childcare costs

There are several ways that you may be able to receive assistance with Childcare fees.

Loughborough University Salary Sacrifice Scheme

The University’s Salary Sacrifice Scheme is available for all salaried employees of Loughborough University. Under the scheme, employees will be able to pay their Nursery fees from their gross (pre-tax) salary, resulting in a saving in income tax and national insurance contributions.

Loughborough University Staff

A one pound per hour subsidy is made available by the University for their staff members on grades 1-4 during their employment. Confirmation of employment will need to be verified by the University once your child has started and it can take up to a month to process your application.

Loughborough University Students

A one pound per hour subsidy is made available by the University for their students during the academic years at Loughborough University. Students will need to download a Certificate of Registration from the Student Self Service portal to enable the discount to be applied to the invoice.

Disclaimer: Subsidies are not applied to Government funded hours. Proof of eligibility is required to obtain subsidies. If your circumstances change, you must inform the Nursery. Loughborough University Nursery Limited will reclaim any subsidy payments that have been falsely claimed.

Imago staff

Imago staff may be eligible for a one pound per hour subsidy depending on your salary and a salary sacrifice scheme is available to salaried employees. Please contact the Imago HR for more information.

Childcare voucher schemes

We accept payment through childcare voucher schemes including Tax Free Childcare.

Free Early Educational Funding (FEEE)

We accept Educational funding that is available to children for the term following their third birthday and eligible two year olds. The outstanding invoice balance, not covered by FEEE, will be required to either be paid by vouchers, bank transfer or Tax-Free Childcare.

Tax Free Childcare

We accept payment via Tax Free Childcare. If you are paying by Tax Free Childcare please let us know your child Tax Free Childcare reference number.

We offer several options for parents to access their funding. For more information, visit the Government's Childcare Choices website.
