Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research, Professor Steve Rothberg, is the new Chair of the awarding committee. He commented: “I am delighted that we are now opening the donation funds again as we know there are so many fantastic organisations in our local areas who need support.
"One of the changes we are making is to give more colleagues from right across the University the chance to be part of the decisions we make on funding. I know lots of us are active in volunteering, fundraising and charity work and that’s the experience the committee is looking for to help us make good decisions.”
Staff who would like to join a Community Donations Fund awards round in 2022 and 2023 are asked to fill out the short application form by Friday 13 May.
