Travelling from Birmingham Airport to Loughborough

If you're planning on bringing a lot of luggage with you, then it’s often easier to get a taxi. If you pre-book a taxi, it will cost around £80 to get a taxi from Birmingham Airport to our Loughborough campus.

If you travel by taxi it should only take around 45 minutes to arrive at our Loughborough campus.

Currently there is no direct trainline from Birmingham Airport to Loughborough train station. However, depending on which train you get, there are 2 changes involving a train to Birmingham New Street and then change again at Leicester.

You would need to get a taxi or bus to Birmingham New Street, where you would then be able to get a train to Leicester and then on to Loughborough train station. Upon arrival, you would be able to get a taxi or hop on a bus. There are lots of stops involved in this option, and because you’ll have lots of luggage and be tired from your flight we do not recommend this option.
