Statistics workshops
Statistics staff from the Mathematics Education Centre run regular statistics workshops primarily for postgraduate research students and also run sessions for staff.
Topics include SPSS, Questionnaire Design, Design of Surveys and Experiments, Statistical Methodology, Paired and Unpaired T-tests, Chi-squared Tests, Non-parametric Tests, Linear Regression and Correlation, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Design of multifactor experiments.
These workshops are part of a personal and professional development programme that postgraduate research students are expected to undertake during their doctorate to develop skills & competencies.
