Dan Rodenhurst is Director General in UK Defence and Security and leads a multi-agency shared technology services organisation. He is pioneering the use of hyperscale cloud in national security, building on his extensive experience of secure IT delivery requiring significant engineering innovation. An accomplished engineer and recognised expert, he has led engineering organisations in oil and gas with Shell; consumer goods with Tate & Lyle and in high tech with Accenture.  He is special adviser to the Board of the National Physical Laboratory and Lay Member of Loughborough University Council.
