International Hangout - Diwali arts and crafts
Book now
A relaxed crafting session for international students.
About this event
*** For international students ***
We're running a relaxed craft session at the International Hangout (run by International Student Experience).
This is the perfect chance to meet other students and take a break from university life. You can get creative while you chat and make something to take home - or send back home!
In this session, you can make your own Diwali Suncatcher. Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, by creating your own colourful suncatcher inspired by rangoli patterns to hang in your window.
No experience is necessary and all materials are provided.
Accessibility
There is step free access into the building and Seminar Room One is located on the entry level floor. There are accessible toilets nearby. For more information, view the Access Guide for Pilkington Library on AccessAble.
If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of, please let us know via the booking form or email LU.Arts@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk in advance of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Photography
Photography will be taking place at this event. If you do not consent to your photo being taken and this being used by Loughborough University, LU Arts and the workshop leader for publicity purposes, then please alert the photographer or event organiser on the day.
