Charlotte Wills graduated from Loughborough with a BA in Printed Textiles in 2012, and immediately pursued her career in the fashion industry after being able to land a job at Next Menswear.

She worked at Next on the Menswear graphics team for five years. The role gave her the opportunity to travel to many cities around the world for inspiration, including Tokyo, New York, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Berlin, Ibiza, Paris and Florence. She also had the opportunity to meet fashion and design icons such as Sir Paul Smith.

Charlotte says that one of the highlights of her work and career at that time was her designs being featured in GQ magazine and seeing people walking around wearing items of clothing with her own hand drawn and hand painted designs on them.

After her journey in Next Menswear, she joined George at Asda where she has worked in a wide variety of fashion departments including Baby, Toddler, Children's Nightwear and most recently, Ladies Nightwear and Lingerie.  Her work across Next and George means she has covered almost all fashion departments at some point during her career.

However, Charlotte said the proudest moment in her career to date has been being able to dress her new baby in designs that she has personally created.

Good job, Charlotte!
