Think Jarvis has been running for almost six years with a wide client range from sole traders to multinational companies. Tom has always been involved in website design and has worked in this area in a range of different companies and as a freelancer during and prior his studies at Loughborough and throughout his career.
Tom said:
“The Industrial Design programme at Loughborough - including the Entrepreneurship module - gave me all of the tools I needed to launch a creative business. It taught me problem solving alongside practical design skills in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite - which I use daily, alongside advising clients on how to promote their businesses. I found university a challenge and at times struggled with the workload, but the experience has helped shape my working life. Most of the things I do now would not have been possible without a solid grounding in problem solving and practical design skills.”
After gaining experience in different companies and sectors, Tom started Think Jarvis and grew his freelance business into a design consultancy, and he is currently working on expanding the business to help him deliver class leading services to his customers.
