Five of a group of six alumnae reunited at Loughborough to rekindle and reminisce on their time at university together.

A short while later in 2023 all six were able to gather in Manchester and together they have taken trips to different cities and countries

Sally Kenny, Maureen Thirkill, Christine Davet, Pam Roelich, Linda Melton and Pam Cole met at Loughborough Teacher Training college in September 1968. Five of them lived in Towers and one lived in William Morris. The tried to keep in touch throughout the years as best as they could, and Pam Roelich and Maureen stayed friends throughout.

50 years later, Sally was able to connect with all six members of the group and tried to plan a reunion, but unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their plans were compromised. However, Pam Roelich arranged virtual meetings, and had regular meet ups until they were able to plan another reunion two years later.

They still regularly meet up virtually and plan to meet annually in person in different parts of the country.
