Alumna will be running 60 miles to support fellow alumna

Jayne Hopkinson and Toni Radulovic smiling at Loughborough graduation

Jayne Hopkinson and Toni Radulovic met at the University in 1996, while studying a BA in European Business, and have been best friends ever since.

Toni had also met her husband Ivan at Loughborough, while he was studying a BA in Modern European Studies and they got married in 2004.

In less than a year Toni was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis (MS), a neurological condition that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord.

Toni had always been active, and despite her diagnosis, she has continued to pursue different activities to challenge herself, such as scuba diving, competing at the National Wheelchair Championships with her daughter and many more activities.

In support of the cause, Jayne plans to run 60 miles in December to help fundraise for the MS Society as they fund world-leading research about multiple sclerosis.
