Alumnus wins B2B CMO Award

Sumeet Vermani (Politics, Communication and Media, 2007) has recently been recognised for his contributions to marketing in the technology sector.

The alumnus has recently been announced as one of the winners of The Future B2B CMO in Technology, awarded to 100 top marketing leaders around the world.

Having previously worked for global organisations ESPN, Symantec and Worldpay, his award recognised his most recent role as Global Vice President of Marketing at Global Processing Services.

Leading marketing at the payments processor in the fast growing Fintech space, his team re-ignited the GPS brand and digital experience, helping to drive record revenue and leading the company to win over 15 industry awards including Best Processing Programme at the Global Card & Payment Awards. This success resulted in the company closing over $400m of investment from a range of investors, including Advent International and Mastercard, in 2022.
