Adam Mealand and Natasha Kirkup met at Loughborough in 2011 and got married on 18 February 2023 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire.

Adam began his studies in Automotive Engineering in 2010 and Natasha joined the University in 2011 to study Computer Science. The pair met in 2011 when they both joined the Loughborough Students Union (LSU) Tenpin Bowling Club.

Whilst at University, Adam and Natasha’s love blossomed and they became a couple in 2013, two years after meeting each other. The pair finished university together in 2015 and lived together in their final year of studies.

Since leaving Loughborough the pair pursued their dream careers. Adam now works in the automotive industry and is a successful lead engineer with Jaguar Land Rover. Natasha graduated with a first class BSc and works as a software architect.

Loughborough has been a significant place for the alumni. The two returned to campus for their engagement photoshoot and captured snapshots of their bricks outside LSU where they met.

Brown bricks with different names and graduation years written on them with two hands covering a brick together.

Congratulations to Adam and Natasha Mealand
