Victor Adebayo Oke has released a book, ‘Seventy Steps Upon Mount Grace’, that looks back on his journey from Ikere-Ekiti (Nigeria) to Loughborough, and his 37-year career in engineering.

Victor graduated with a degree in Civil and Building Engineering in 1984 and specialised in Water and Waste Engineering for Developing Countries (WEDC).

Victor went on to work at the Ondo State Water Corporation, Nigeria, serving as a General Manager. His first engineering assignment was the Ero Dam Project Site, where he joined a team of local and foreign engineers for the commission of a 104 million litres per day water supply scheme. He was Permanent Secretary in Government Ministries until his retirement in 2007.

Since then, he has been running his own business in the oil, gas, and water supply sector.

Victor’s book ‘Seventy Steps Upon Mount Grace’ is now available on Amazon.
