Peter Stone

Peter was a psychologist specialising in the impact of light on people. He joined Loughborough University in about 1960 and became a Reader in the Ergonomics and Cybernetics Department which later became Human Sciences. Peter was an original thinker and in the 60-70s he was researching how we respond to the indoor environment especially to light. His studies preceded some of the valuable present day neuroscience ones in this area of research. He retired around 1990 and lived in Quorn for over 60 years.
