Anthony Sergeant

Farewell

And so we say sayonara to Anthony Sergeant. He has left the pitch and taken his final curtain.

Anthony was a charismatic member of the PE and Drama departments from 1969 -1972. He was very well spoken and an accomplished actor, tennis and hockey player. He went on to win a scholarship to RADA and worked extensively in theatre, films and TV. His first part was in the film, ‘Oh What a Lovely War’. Anthony was proud to be awarded a Loughborough honorary degree and when resting in between parts, taught PE in his African violet tracksuit, with pride.
