Exercise Physiology MSc
1 year full-time
The programme provides you with the opportunity to gain understanding in depth of the physiological, nutritional and metabolic demands of exercise and training, and their implications for participation in sport and for the maintenance of good health.
It is designed for graduates possessing a good degree in sports science or other relevant biological science.
The programme offers study at a high level in the defined areas, with emphasis on the research literature and on “hands-on” experience of traditional and novel laboratory techniques. It is an excellent basis for research or for a career in teaching in further or higher education.

Assessment
Examination, coursework and a research paper.
Entry Qualification
Upper second class honours degree in sports science or other relevant biological science that contains a substantial element of exercise physiology such as applied human physiology or physiotherapy.
