Loughborough University accepts a wide range of International curriculums directly onto their Undergraduate programmes. This includes the A-Levels, International Baccalaureate and American SATs and APs, the entry requirements for these can be found on the individual course pages, in the Loughborough University prospectus.

Candidates must also achieve the University’s English language requirements. The standard University IELTS requirement is a grade of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component. However, certain schools do require a higher IELTS requirement and so applicants should be wary of these prior to application.

Loughborough University would be looking for a GPA between 2.7 and 3.2 from an Egyptian Bachelor degree or, a minimum of a good second class (2.2) honours from a UK Bachelor degree. Applicants with relevant professional qualifications or, applicants with an advanced diploma and relevant work experience may also be considered.

Entry requirements may differ for each course, applicants should therefore review the Postgraduate Prospectus for further details of appropriate subject requirements. Some schools may offer concessions from higher ranking institutions.

Candidates must also achieve the University’s English Language Requirements. The standard University IELTS requirement is a grade of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each component. For students who do not obtain the required score, pre-sessional English Language courses are available.
