Postgraduate Taught Students
For entry to a taught Masters programme we consider applications from students who will complete or have already graduated with a Bacharel/Licenciado/Professional Title degree that has been taken over four or more years. It should be in an appropriate subject, the average grade should be in the range 6.0 to 8.5 minimum (depending on your chosen programme) and it should be from a recognised state or private university in Brazil.
All students must also achieve the University’s English language requirements. Pre-sessional English Language tuition is available for those applicants whose scores in English Language fall slightly below that normally expected for entry. See our Academic Language Support Service for more information.
Loughborough University is a popular destination for Chevening Scholars and we are very pleased to support this scholarship programme, and more information can be found here.
In addition, Two Chevening/Loughborough Olympic Legacy Scholarships will be offered each year for the next three years, starting in 2015-16. The Scholarships are aimed at students who wish to study for a one-year Master’s degree in sports management disciplines at Loughborough University.
Postgraduate Research Students
Good Bacharel and Mestrado degrees from recognised universities and some evidence of good research capability are the normal minimum requirements for admission to our MPhil/PhD programmes. You will also be required to meet the University’s English Language Requirements.
