Across four focused sessions, you’ll hear from staff and current students about accommodation, careers and placements, student life, and UK student finance. Each webinar includes a live Q&A, giving you the chance to ask your questions directly.

Join our Accommodation Team to explore everything you need to know about living at Loughborough. We’ll guide you through the different hall options, explain the application process for each offer-holder type, and highlight key dates to be aware of. You’ll also hear firsthand from current students about where they lived, what life in halls is really like, and their top tips for settling in. The session will end with a live Q&A where you can ask anything about accommodation.

Discover how Loughborough’s Careers Network supports you throughout your degree and beyond. This session covers the wide range of services available, from careers guidance to help finding internships, placement years, and study‑abroad opportunities. You’ll also hear from current students about their own placement or study‑abroad experiences and how the Careers Network supported them. 

Learn what student life at Loughborough is all about. Members of our Student Experience Team and current students will introduce you to life in halls, hall committees, and the support provided by wardens. You’ll also hear about the variety of events, social activities, sports, and societies you can take part in. Plus, get a feel for what the start of term looks like for new students and what life in Loughborough town has to offer.

Our Student Finance Team will guide you through the essentials of UK student finance, including government loans and the application process, along with key dates and important details to help you feel prepared. You’ll also hear from current students about budgeting and part-time work. The session ends with a live Q&A to answer any finance‑related questions.

The presentation from our finance team will only cover student finance information for UK students. If you have international fee status and have any questions, please reach out to our global engagement team.
