Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) is located at Hauz Khas in South Delhi. The campus is approximately ten kilometres away from Delhi Airport and is within easy reach via bus or train. IIT Delhi was ranked 172 in the QS World University Rankings of 2019, the top-ranked university in India, and is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Technology created as centres of excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology.
