I am a sports chaplain and gained my under-grad degree, post-grad (MA) and PhD all at Loughborough; I therefore understand the ups-and-downs of student life here. I also taught in the English and Drama department before becoming a chaplain.

I am a Cruse-trained, accredited bereavement counsellor and run the Bereavement Café in the chaplaincy library at 1.15 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month. Everyone who has experienced a loss is welcome to drop in for a chat. One-to-one support is also offered.

I attend Knightthorpe Methodist Church here in Loughborough and am a circuit steward for the Loughborough Methodist Circuit, which covers twelve churches.

I am also a freelance editor and professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). I work with students and staff on their theses, dissertations and journal articles.
