Adam works with Dr Janine Coates as a Research Associate in stakeholder engagement and knowledge translation.
Adam obtained his BSc in Psychology from Staffordshire University in 2019 and his MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Sussex in 2020. Adam started his PhD at Loughborough University in January 2021. Adam’s PhD investigated the barriers and facilitators to participation in wheelchair basketball by examining athlete experiences of the sport alongside how participation can impact athlete mental and physical well-being.
Adam is a Research Associate at the Peter Harrison Centre for Disability Sport, focused on stakeholder engagement and knowledge translation.
In his current position, Adam will engage with key external stakeholders and partner organisations of the Peter Harrison Centre to undertake a qualitative needs analysis. He will also work with members of the Peter Harrison Centre to translate existing research and to identify new research directions.
