Although trained as a classical musician, Terry Thompson has been working principally in the visual arts since 1988. With the exception of short working periods in N.Y., Thompson has resided and held a studio in Amsterdam, the Netherlands for the past 35 years. He has exhibited extensively, both in commercial galleries and in various museums. In 2011, his work was included in " All About Drawing", a survey of contemporary Dutch drawing in the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam.
