Keineetse Motlhanka

Keineetse Motlhanka is from Gaborone, Botswana. He graduated from the University of Botswana, Gaborone, Botswana and was awarded a Bachelor of Industrial Design, Industrial Design & Technology, in 2008.

Keineetse then did a postgraduate degree at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland and was awarded a Master of Science in Product Design Engineering, Design Engineering, 2013

Keineetse Motlhanka started his PhD in January 2018 at Loughborough University. He is also sponsored by University of Botswana as part of their Staff Development Programme. Keineetse responsibilities are for University duties at the University of Botswana and being part of a research team for research on additive manufacturing in Botswana financed through HRDC Grant.

Title of Thesis: Assessing the Value-Adding Potential of Selective Feature Customisation through Hybrid Digital Fabrication.

Looking at ways in which digital manufacturing processes such as additive manufacturing can be used to add value to products which have been designed for customisation/personalisation.

Supervisors: Dr Matt Sinclair and Dr Ian Campbell.
