James Willmott is a doctoral research who is part of the Digital Design and Fabrication group in the school. He arrived in Loughborough in 2016, studying for a MEng in Mechanical Engineering which was completed in 2021. James then transferred over to the SDCA and began work on his PhD entitled 'Design for Multi-material Additive Manufacture' in Oct 2021.
Since Jan 2022, he has been working on this project from the site of an industrial sponsor and will continue to work and study from there for the majority of his PhD.
