Profile

Carrie is a graphic designer and visual communicator with commercial experience in publishing and corporate sectors.

With a BA in Graphic Design from Manchester, she latterly gained an MSc in Digital Media Design from Edinburgh University which ignited an interest in the transition of collage into the digital space. Having spent her formative years growing up in a residential home for the elderly run by her mother, a nurse, she lived alongside older people, and was fascinated by their lives, using mark making and collage to document their stories, as their memories faded, with age and dementia.

Her focus marries the core themes of digital visual storytelling and oral histories, with the aim of aiding mental health literacy within an older population.
