Anthony Eland graduated from De Montfort University with a BA (Hons) in Furniture Design in 2000.

After a short spell in the point-of-purchase industry Anthony began work as a freelance designer. During this time he worked with a range of clients from Europe and the US, including The Design Unit, the BBC and Warner Bros, on a wide range of projects: from designing products and furniture for manufacture to interface design to special effects for the film industry.

Anthony started his teaching career in 2001, becoming a full-time lecturer at De Montfort University in 2007. During this time Anthony taught and developed the CAD curriculum for a range of design disciplines on undergraduate and post graduate courses.

In 2015 Anthony accepted a University Teacher post at Loughborough University where he teaches CAD/CAM to Industrial and Product design students.
