Australian artist Kristy Gordon practices slow making in screen-based drawings and machine-based carvings, leaning into tools of the present’s velocity to mediate experiences of more-than-human coastal environments. Her practice contemplates how slowness translates from lived experience of landscape to modes of drawing, finding connections between repetitive mark-making, flow and resonance.
