Joanna Leah

Joanna is an artist and senior lecturer at Leeds School of Arts at Leeds Beckett University. Her practice research explores choreographic and embodied practices producing drawn-out, installations and performances. Central to her practice is line-making; lines mediated by the body in a choreographic system of correspondence with site-specific movement patterns, material forces, elements and bodies on the move to produce what she terms 'blublilds' – to produce new spaces.
