Kinetic Soundscape (1), plywood drawings, 2019

Oona Wagstaff is an artist-musician and drawing researcher based in Devon. By drawing-together her drawing and musical practices, Oona’s kinetic soundscapes uncover the silent, visuo-spatial and temporal nature of drawing as an art of 'Being'. These works bring the drawing line off of a planar surface, oscillating between two and three dimensions and on a potential continuum between ambiguity and indeterminacy. Oona holds a first class BA (Hons) degree in painting, drawing and printmaking, a distinction in MA drawing from Plymouth College of Art and will begin her Doctoral research at Loughborough University later this year.
