Dr Samantha Lynch is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Brighton, where she runs an architecture studio. Following completion of her masters in Manitoba, Canada, she has carried out funded architectural research in Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom. In 2017 Lynch completed her practice-based PhD (The Dark Mirror: Engaging Multiple Temporalities Through Drawing) at the University of Brighton, focussing on the role of temporality and prediction in the architectural drawing. Her research continues to experiment with the slipperiness of time, context and multiplicity in creative practice. Lynch exhibits her work internationally and is co-founder of the Experimental Design Practice Group, Brighton.
