Amy Hodgson

I’m Amy, a Fine Art student and artist based in North Yorkshire. I create contemporary prints and mixed-media pieces that explore how women have been perceived, portrayed and sometimes distorted by visual culture. My work blends self-portraiture with reworked vintage print processes and modern printmaking (lino, gelli, photography) to celebrate and empower women through imperfect, textured imagery.

Ben James

Ben James - Bartendd

I’ve always believed that ideas without action turn into regrets. They remind you of your own disbelief in your potential. That is exactly why I chose entrepreneurship - to embrace what could be.

Bartendd is the first step on that journey. It is an elegantly simple solution that helps independently owned venues reward loyalty, deliver better customer experiences and drive growth. For me it is an opportunity for development and an embodiment of ambition.

Katie Dening

Katie Dening

Born profoundly deaf, I received my first cochlear implant at 14 months old, and a second at age seven. I was later diagnosed with high-functioning autism at 13, followed by ADHD at 21. I came out as gay at 20 - each of these milestones a label, but none defining me entirely.

Despite these challenges, I’ve been supported by a loving family, attended top-tier schools, and continue to thrive as a committed student athlete. My business - my art - is inseparable from my identity. It is not just an outlet to process my lived experience; it’s a way to reach others who feel isolated, misunderstood, or unseen.

My fine art practice explores life through the lens of hearing loss and neurodiversity. I aim to build bridges between those who live with these experiences and those who don’t - because art, at its core, is a universal language. It transcends sound, speech, and diagnosis.

Disability is not a reason to stop - it’s a reason to keep going. To defy the odds. To connect more deeply. My work exists at that intersection: of challenge and triumph, of difference and unity, of silence and expression.
