Vikki is a Professor of Teaching Practice in the Management Science and Operations Group, where she specialises in online and classroom pedagogies, and the subject field of project management. She has degrees in Music and Related Arts (BA Hons from Chichester), Education (MEd from Exeter) and Management (PhD from Leicester). Vikki is a University-wide champion for the use of hologram technology for teaching and research practices. She started her career as a professional educator in 1990 and since then has taken on roles as a practitioner, designer, manager and consultant at every level of the education arena from pre-school to post-doc, on small and large-scale projects, in the public and private sectors, and in the UK and abroad.

Before coming to Loughborough, Vikki spent 8.5 years at Warwick Business School where her roles included Assistant Dean for Blended and Co-curricular Learning, Distance Learning MBA Course Director and Associate Professor in the Operations Group. She has also worked at the University of Leicester, University for the Creative Arts, London Metropolitan University and the University of London.
