Profile
Anna is a Research Associate whose research interests lie at the intersection of management and industrial strategy, with a focus on manufacturing ecosystems and sustainable supply chains. Her interest in policy was shaped early through an internship at the European Parliament, where she supported the Vice-Chair of the International Trade Committee.
She completed her PhD in 2025 at the University of Warwick. As part of the UKRI-funded National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research (NICER) Programme, her research challenged manufacturer-centric perspectives by highlighting the underrepresented role of logistics and logistics service providers in enabling circularity, resilience, and resource efficiency.
She has contributed to InterAct (Made Smarter Innovation), exploring the organisational and human dimensions of digital transformation in manufacturing. Her work includes cross-national analysis of manufacturing ecosystems, particularly between the UK and Malaysia, with applications in strategic sectors such as defence.
Since September 2025, she has been a Research Associate at the UK SCALE Centre at Loughborough University, working at the intersection of management and industrial policy. Her current research focuses on defence supply chains and supply chain insurance, collaborating with industry partners, including a global insurance provider, to address challenges in productivity, resilience, and sustainability.
