Resilience and Growth Tool
What is the Resilience and Growth Tool?
Loughborough University is offering local and partner organisations the opportunity to complete a free analysis of their business to assess their capabilities and gain one-to-one feedback across five business dimensions to pinpoint areas of strength and opportunity to support business resilience and growth. We are also keen to understand how to support businesses through our research and enterprise work.
The business dimensions covered are:
- business characteristics
- external relations
- performance and planning
- added value
- knowledge and resource management.
Why should I complete the tool?
The tool provides you the opportunity to see how your business is performing across a wide range of areas, receive feedback (with a four-page report) and a follow-up one-to-one meeting with a member of the Loughborough University team to discuss the findings in more depth. This will give you an idea of how your business is performing across key areas and where you might want to look in developing your business further. The initial analysis and follow-up discussion are totally free for the organisation. There is no obligation to have the follow-up meeting after the report or to have any further contact. The tool is designed to support as many organisations as possible including small and medium-sized (SME) companies, by providing useful insight into how businesses might wish to develop to support their resilience and growth.
After the follow-up meeting, if you wish to investigate how Loughborough University could support your business development, you can opt to explore the different options we offer - however there is no obligation to do so.
What do I need to do?
By clicking the link you will be taken to a web page to complete the diagnostic tool which comprises a series of questions covering different business areas. There is no requirement to give detailed financial data and it should only take 20 to 30 minutes to complete. You do not have to complete the questionnaire in one sitting - the system will save your responses should you wish to return to it later. If you decide to quit the questionnaire at any point, you may do so. All data collected will be confidential and held in accordance with the University’s data protection policies.
