The University has a strategy and plan for the implementation of the 2008 Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers. The plan itself, along with various review documents, can be found by clicking on the tab above labelled "HR Excellence in Research".
The Concordat

We received international recognition for this in 2010, which was renewed following external review in 2014 and 2018, through the European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research Award.
A UK-wide process, incorporating the QAA Code of Practice for Research Degree Programmes and the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers, enables institutions to gain the European Commission’s ‘HR Excellence in Research’ award, acknowledging alignment with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.
