The Research Director will be the principal advocate of the NRC research ambition nationally by galvanising awareness of the breadth of the opportunities the NRC concept represents in the research field. That breadth needs to expand the boundaries of clinical achievement in the realms of technology, engineering, and macro economics.
The post holder will: chair the monthly Research Board; steer and advise on research direction; refine the NRC research strategic plan, engage funding bodies; drive publications; foster national and international relationships and ensure physical capacity to deliver research across a multitude of different opportunities.
The NRC Research Board will report bi-monthly to the NRC Programme Board until the NRC opens and thereafter to the NRC Board.
