Our research
Addressing complex challenges in transport to foster innovative solutions and perspectives.
This cluster will support and drive the University's Transport AI Innovation Centre (TRAICE).
TRAICE has been recently established to strategically leverage the University's diverse, multidisciplinary expertise to work across boundaries – between disciplines and co-creation with communities and partners.
Together we will address complex challenges in transport to foster innovative solutions and perspectives that might not emerge within a single discipline.
We will focus on the needs of disadvantaged groups, ensuring equitable and accessible transport systems. By combining technical development with behavioural insights, data-driven urban planning and policy considerations, we will deliver holistic solutions that bridge the gap between technology and societal impact, making it a true interdisciplinary effort.
Aligned with TRAICE’s broader interdisciplinary initiatives, we will advance the University's Research and Innovation Core Plan, addressing global challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration - creating better futures, together.
